Several skin tents were brought down with all their fur-nishings, even to the deerskins for bedding and theseal intestines to be used forwindows. The mode ofdress among this people isillustrated by several com-plete costumes for men,women and children. Thesegarments are made of sealskin, bear skin and deerskin. There are also a num-ber of ornaments of sealskin, of ivory and of walrustusks. A glimpse of theirdomestic life is shown in thechildrens toys, the rudemusical instruments, theneedle cases with thimbles of walrus tusk and deer sinew for thr«iad,the stone lamps, and the stone, bone and wooden dishes. Theoccupations and means of livelihood among this people are indi-cated by sledges and dog harnesses, and canoes or kayaks with fullhunting and fishing equipment.
