Remember when you were a kid. No Play Station...no ipod...no internet...no MTV. Life was simple and so were our toys. I found these blocks in the Heights Toy Store and thought about the "old" days when times and troubles seemed simpler. It made me feel nostalgic and I thought I would share the feeling with you.

I personally prefer blocks. You can use more imagination. Very well done.

Wonderful idea. I remember it well.
fromky 2011-08-24 07:35:16
Oh yes, I do remember playing with them...but there were never enough of them to spell out what I wanted...lol. As a result, when my kids came along, I was sure to buy extra sets of them so they wouldn't run into the same problem. I cannot count the times I tripped on them and bruised my feet though :)
Beautiful work, Joe!
